In 2011, we were able to support the state capital Stuttgart with the introduction of the nation’s first rental system for pedelecs. Since this consists of a combination of borrowing and loading terminal, it always keeps users ready to start pedelecs with a charged battery ready. We supported the construction of the required infrastructure, took over the project management and helped with the application.

The project was funded under the Federal program “Electromobility in Model Regions” from the Federal Economic Stimulus Package II and realized in cooperation between the city of Stuttgart, DB Rent and EnBW.
